2 1/4 c. all purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. butter or margarine, softened
1/4 c. granulated sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 pkg. (4 serving size) Jello Brand Chocolate Instant Pudding
2 eggs
1 pkg. (12oz.) chocolate chips
1 c. chopped nuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour with baking soda. Combine butter, the sugars, vanilla and pudding mix in large mixer bowl; beat until smooth and creamy. Beat in eggs.
Gradually add flour mixture; then stir in chips and nuts. (Batter will be stiff.)
Drop by rounded measuring teaspoons about 2 inches apart, onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 375º for 8-10 minutes.
Place on cooling rack to cool.The
