Ingredients:  
Ingredients:  
1 1/2 cups flour
1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 cup brown sugar
3/4 stick butter melted & cooled
3/4 cup buttermilk or heavy cream
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1-2 apples cut in slice (peeled & cored)

1 tablespoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon ( these two for sprinkling on cake after)

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 400 degrees
Add all ingredients and pour into
greased 8 or 9 inch pan
Bake 30-35 minutes until golden brown

Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon mixture
