Crust-
2 C Flour
1 C Brown Sugar
1/2 C Oatmeal
3/4 C Butter-Melted
1 tsp Salt

Filling-
4-5 Cups of Apples- Macintosh or Cortland work best
1 C of Water
1 C Sugar
1/4 tsp Salt
1tsp Vanilla
3 tsp Cornstarch

Directions:
Directions:
Crust/crumble
Mix ingredients together. Place HALF of the crust into bottom of greased 9x9 pan.

Filling-
Peel and slice apples. Lay over Crust.

In a pan boil remaining filling ingredients. Once there is a rolling boil turn off heat and pour mixture over the apples.

Sprinkle the remaining crust mixture over the top.

Bakeš 50 minutes. Best if served warm
