Preheat your waffle iron.
Melt 2oz. unsweetened chocolate (or 6 T. cocoa) with 1/2 c. butter. Beat 2 eggs with 3/4 c. sugar. Fold in 1 c. flour, plus 1 T. Mix in order given.
Drop from teaspoon onto waffle iron. (May have to spray oil on waffle iron so cookies don't stick.) Bake 1 minute, remove to cooling rack.
Frost while warm.

Melt 1 oz. sq. chocolate with 1/4 c. water, 1/2 c. brown sugar and 2 1/2 T. butter. Boil these ingredients 3 minutes. Add 1 tsp. vanilla and about 1 1/2 c. powdered sugar. Beat until frosting consistency.
Frost cookies while still warm.
