3/4 c. sugar
3 T. cornstarch
1 1/2 c. water
1 pkg. (3 oz.) strawberry gelatin
4 c. sliced fresh strawberries
1 shortbread crust (9 inch)

Directions:
Directions:
In a saucepan, combine the sugar, corn starch, and water until smooth. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Remove from the heat; stir in gelatin until dissolved. Transfer to a bowl. Chill until partially set.
Cover bottom of crust with strawberries, spread a small amount of the gelatin over, continue until all the strawberries are covered. Cover and refrigerate until set.

I usually use a premade pie crust for this strawberry pie. Just make sure you bake the shell before putting the filling in it.
