2cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp ground cloves
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/3 cup shortening
2 eggs
1 cup canned pumpkin
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup raisins (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, baking powder, salt, ginger, soda, and cloves: set aside. In large bowl beat together sugar and shortening until combined then beat in eggs. Add pumpkin and milk. Add this to flour mixture. Stir in nuts and raisins. Place into greased 9x5x3 pan. Bake 350 for 55 to 60 minutes.
