Grilled Beer Brats Recipe

Johnsonville beer brats
3 12 oz. cans of cheap beer
1/2 large red onion, sliced

Directions:
Directions:
Pour beer into large saucepan. Add onion and heat over medium meat. Add brats and cover. When liquid begins to boil, turn heat to low and let simmer with lid slightly propped open for up to 4 hours. Remove brats and discard liquid. Let brats cool and refrigerate overnight. Grill brats until caramelized on the outside and heated through. Serve with bun and condiments of choice.
