6 medium size green peppers
1 cup cooked white rice
1 egg
1 onion, chopped
1 small (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 pound ground beef
2 red tomatoes
salt, pepper, garlic powder, chili powder to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Lightly grease baking dish. Cut off tops and hollow out peppers. In a large bowl, mix together the rice, egg, meat, spices and 1/2 the tomato sauce. Divide mixture evenly into the peppers and place in baking dish. pour remaining sauce over peppers. Chop tomatoes and put on top. Cover and bake at 325º for 1 1/4 to 2 hours.

Personally, I like to chop a little green pepper and mix it into the meat mixture. Then I just make little meat loaves and eat the rest of the peppers raw. LOL Also good topped with shredded cheese.
