2½ cups Warm water, not hot or it kills yeast
2 package Yeast
½ cup Sugar
½ cup Shortening
1 Egg
Flour (approx. 2 pounds self rising)

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add rest of ingredients and mix well. Use as much flour as needed to make a good dough. Refrigerate for at least two hours. Take out, knead, then roll out, cut with biscuit cutter, let rise double. Please on cookie sheet and bake at 400 degrees until done (about 15 minutes). This dough may be kept up to 2 weeks in the refrigerator.
