3/4 CUP BUTTER
1.5 CUPS FLOUR
1.5 CUPS SUGAR
1.5 TSP BAKING POWDER
1/4 TSP SALT
1 AND 1/8 CUP MILK
1 29 OZ CAN OF SLICED PEACHES
1 CUP (ADDITIONAL) SUGAR

PREHEAT OVEN 350

MELT BUTTER IN THE PAN

COMBINE FLOUR, SUGAR, BAKING POWDER AND SALT. ADD THE MILK TO THE DRY INGREDIENTS AND STIR UNTIL NO LONGER LUMPY. POUR THE BATTER OVER THE MELTED BUTTER. DRAIN THE CAN OF PEACHES. (SAVE THE JUICE) THEN PLACE THE PEACHES RANDOMLY OVER THE BATTER. THEN POUR THE PEACH JUICE ALL OVER THE TOP OF THE BATTER MIX. THEN SPRINKLE REMAINING 1 CUP OF SUGAR EVENLY ON TOP.

BAKE UNCOVERED FOR ONE HOUR AND BEGINNING TO BUBBLE AND BROWN.
