1 c. shredded sweetened coconut
1 box of German chocolate cake mix
3 eggs
1-1/3 c. water
1/2 c. vegetable oil
8 oz. softened cream cheese
1/2 c. butter melted
2 c. powder sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 c. dark chocolate chips

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350º.
Spray 9x13 pan with baking spray.
Sprinkle coconut evenly on the bottom of the pan.
In a large bowl, whisk cake mix, eggs, oil, and water.
Pour cake batter over coconut.
In a medium sauce pan over medium heat, melt butter and cream cheese together. Transfer into another bowl and whisk in powdered sugar until smooth. Stir in the vanilla.
Pour the cream cheese mixture in ribbons on top of the cake batter, then swirl with a knife.
Top with chocolate chips
Bake 45-55 minutes.

The cake is done when you gently shake the pan and the middle no longer jiggles. Sorry the toothpick method doesn't work with this cake.
