Directions:
we never really follow a recipe - it is mostly to taste. I saute the onion and garlic then add the sauce and paste. I don't allows use paste. Season to taste. I usually probably use about a tablespoon or two depending on if I make a bigger batch with two cans of sauce. I brown the sausage/pork and meatballs then add them to the sauce. The sauce is simmered for several hours so the flavor of the meat gets into the sauce. Grampa Ralph use to puree a carrot to sweeten the sauce a little. I would sometimes use fresh tomatoes from the garden squeezing out some of the water.
