4 qts. tomatoes - red & green chopped
2 c. onions chopped
2 c. green peppers chopped
1 tsp powder mustard
1 c. sugar
2 c. vinegar
1 tbsp. salt
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp nutmeg

Bring to a boil and simmer 2 hours.

You can also place sauce in canning pints and process for 20 minutes

Dad's chili sauce is great on hamburgers or other meats and crock pot meatballs with grape jelly. Dad was very proud of his tomatoes he grew every year and spent hours in his garden taking care of them.
