2 c sugar
1/2 c butter
1/2 c Crisco
2 eggs
2 c flour
1 c buttermilk
1 tsp vanilla
1 c flaked coconut

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350.
Cream sugar, butter and Crisco, add egg yolks one at a time, add flour buttermilk, soda and coconut. Mix well. Fold in well beaten egg whites then add vanilla. Pour in well greased and floured pans. Bake about 25 minutes.

Frosting: 1 -8 oz cream cheese, 1/2 c butter, 1 tsp vanilla, 1 # confectioners sugar. Mix well and spread on cake. Enjoy!
