2 c cake flour
1 1/3 c sugar
2 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 c canola oil minus 1 T
4 large egg yolks - unbeaten
2/3 c cold water (can use half orange juice)
2 tsp vanilla
1 T orange zest (or more)
7 large egg whites
1/2 tsp cream of tartar

Have ready oven set at 325 in ungreased 10 inch tube pan.
Sift flour and next 3 ingredients. Combine rest of ingredients. Beat egg whites and cream of tartar. Fold in rest of ingredients. Bake until well done - never stir this.
