2 lb bag of frozen hash browns (I like the shredded ones)
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 pint sour cream
2 cups grated sharp cheddar cheese
1 chopped onion
1.5 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Mix all ingredients, place in 9x13 greased casserole dish.
Bake for one hour, or until top is lightly browned.

*I typically do not add the chopped onion - because my children hate onions!

I don't remember a family gathering in the last 10 years where we did not have this casserole - big hit with big and little kids!
