1 chicken stock cube
1 lb. green beans
2 tbsp. butter
2 scallions, sliced
1 tbsp. soya sauce
1 tbsp. sherry
2/3 cup clear broth
3 tbsp. oil
4 - 6 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar


Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve stock cube in the broth in large saucepan. Add beans and simmer until nearly all liquid has evaporated turning constantly. Heat oil and butter in a pan. Add garlic, onions, salt. Stir fry 30 seconds. Add beans and toss in the fat until well coated. Sprinkle with soya sauce, sugar and sherry. Stir fry 1 minute.
