Ingredients:
1 pound pecans
1/2 cup butter, melted
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon ginger
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon salt
4 tablespoons sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 275 degrees. Melt butter. Mix all the spices, salt and two tablespoons of sugar.  Add half of the spice/sugar mixture into the melted butter. Pour over the pecans and spread out on a cookie sheet.

Bake at 275 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes.  Be careful not to burn the nuts, so start checking on them after about eight to 10 minutes. The butter should be bubbling for a few minutes.

Remove from the cookie sheet with a slotted spoon. Spread out on a paper towel to dry. Place pecans in a bowl and pour the remaining two tablespoons of sugar and spice mixture over the nuts.

My mother always made these for holiday parties and gave bags to my teachers as thank you presents.
