Ingredients:  
3 lb lean stew beef
3 medium potatoes
1 c sliced carrots
1 medium onion - chopped
salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Boil meat with salt, pepper and garlic powder. When almost tender all other ingredients and cook until tender. Add 1/2 c ketchup and boil 10 minutes longer, stirring occasionally. Make a thickening with 2 T flour and 1/2 c flour. Stir into stew and cook 2 minutes longer, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and serve.
We like ours with biscuits.
