Bouef Bourguignon Recipe

5 medium sliced onions
2 lbs lean beef, cubed
salt and pepper to taste
1 cup red wine
1 pkg frozen pearl onions
2 Tbl bacon drippings
2 Tbl flour
1 cup beef bouillon
1/2 - 1 lb slice mushrooms

Preheat oven to 250
Fry onions in drippings, remove from pan
Add meat to pan and brown
Sprinkle meat with flour and seasons
Add bouillon and wine and stir until flour is well mixed
Add onions and cover
Place in oven and cook for 2 hours, 45 minutes
Add mushrooms and pearl onions and cook additional 45 minutes
