3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
8 T. unsalted butter, melted and cooled
3/4 c. light brown sugar, packed
1 large egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 1/2 c. rolled oats (not instant)
1 c. spice gum drops, coarsely chopped

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350º. Line 2 large baking sheets with parchment. Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl. In large bowl, using a mixer on medium speed, beat together butter and brown sugar. Beat in egg and vanilla. Stir in flour mixture until just combined. Fold in oats and gumdrops. Drop dough by heaping tablespoons about 2" apart. Bake until golden around edges but still soft on top, about 15 minutes. Let stand on baking sheets for about 5 minutes and cool on rack.
