1 1/2 cups boiling water
1 cup minute oats
1/2 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 t. salt
12 t. cinnamon
2 eggs
1 t. soda
Filling
1 stick butter
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 t. vanilla
1/4 cup canned milk
1 cup coconut or 1 cup pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Put oats in boiling water and let stand for 20 minutes. Cream butter and sugars and add to oats. Stir in eggs and dry ingredients. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes in 13 X 9 inch baking dish. Mix filling ingredients and spread over hot cake and broil a few minutes, but watch closely.
