For 1 1/2 quart. For 6 quart x 4
2 cups milk
1 T. flour
1 cup sugar
1 egg or 2 egg yolks ( 2 eggs & 2 egg yolks for 6 qt.)
1/8 t. salt
2 t. vanilla
2 cups half and half (4 cartons)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, sugar and salt. Add eggs and milk gradually. Cook over hot water in double boiler 10 minutes. Stir. When cool, add half and half and vanilla. Refrigerate. Then put in ice cream freezer.
