1/2 cup butter
2 (1 oz.) squares unsweetened chocolate
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup flour
1 t. baking powder
2 eggs
1 t. vanilla
1 cup chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Combine butter and chocolate in top of double boiler; bring water to a boil. Reduce heat to low, and cook until the chocolate melts.
Combine sugar, flour and baking powder in a mixing bowl; add chocolate mixture, mixing well. Add eggs; beat well. Stir in vanilla and pecans. Pour mixture into a greased 9 in. square baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Cool and cut into squares.
