Combine 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce, 6 tbsp. vinegar, 1/4 c sugar, 1 1/2 tsp cornstarch and 1/2 tsp barbecue spice in a small saucepan. Heat to boiling point, stirring constantly. Cook until slightly thickened. Use as a sauce over spareribs, chicken or lamb chops.
