4 cups cubed yellow squash
3 T. butter
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup soft bread crumbs
1 cup milk
3 eggs, beaten
1/2 t. salt
1/4 t. pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Arrange squash in steaming rack. Steam 5-10 minutes or to desired degree of tenderness. Combine squash mixture, butter and cheese. Melt. Combine remaining ingredients and stir into squash mixture. Spoon into a lightly greased casserole dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes or until casserole is set.
