1 1/2 c. packed light brown sugar
2/3 c. Crisco
1 T. water
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. flour
1/3 c. unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. (12 oz. pkg.) miniature semi sweet chocolate chips
1 c. confectioners sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375. Combine brown sugar, shortening, water and vanilla in large bowl. Beat at medium speed until well blended, Beat eggs into creamed mixture. Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt. Mix into creamed mixture at low speed, just until blended.Stir in chocolate chips. Shape dough into 1 1/4" balls. Roll in confectionary sugar. Place 2" apart on ungreased baking sheet. Bake one sheet at a time for 7-9 minutes until cookies set. DO NOT OVERBAKE! Cool 2 minutes.
