2/3 cup sugar
1/2 stick soft butter
5 sweet potatoes
1/2 cup milk
2 eggs
Rum (to taste)
Cinnamon (to taste)

TOPPING

1-1/2 cups brown sugar
1 stick butter
1-1/2 cups chopped pecans
1 tsp vanilla (or Rum) flavoring
1/3 cup self-rising flour

Directions:
Directions:
Cook sweet potatoes and mash.....combine with rest of ingredients and put in buttered 9 X 13 casserole.

(Before adding the eggs, give it the taste test ---to see if it needs more sugar or rum!! The sugar will depend on how sweet the potatoes are and how sweet your taste is.)

TOPPING
1-1/2 cups brown sugar 1 stick butter
1-1/2 cups chopped pecans 1 tsp vanilla (or Rum) flavoring
1/3 cup self-rising flour

Combine these ingredients with a pastry cutter and put on top of casserole.
Bake at 300 degrees for about 30 minutes.
