• 6 slices of bacon
• 1 pound lean ground beef
• 1/2 cup chopped onion
• 1/2 cup ketchup
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon dry mustard
• 2 teaspoon vinegar
• 3/4 cup brown sugar
• 2 cans pork and beans, undrained
• 1 can lima beans or butter beans, drained
• 1 can kidney beans, drained
Preparation for Slow Cooker:
Brown bacon, ground beef, and chopped onions.
Combine drained ground beef mixture in slow cooker with remaining ingredients; cover and cook on LOW for 3 to 5 hours.
Preparation for Oven:
Fry bacon until crisp. Drain.
Fry ground beef and onion until tender.
Combine ketchup, salt, mustard, vinegar, brown sugar, and beans in a 3 quart oven container. Mix well.
Add hamburger and crumbled bacon.
Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
