1 envelope unflavored gelatin
1/4 cup white sugar
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
3 eggs separated
1/4 cup cold water
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 cup pumpkin
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ginger
1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions:
Directions:
Soften gelatin in water. In a saucepan mix egg yolks and brown sugar. Stir in pumpkin, milk and spices. Cook until slightly thickened. Remove from heat, add softened gelatin until dissolved. Chill until mixture thickens. Beat egg whites with white sugar until stiff. Fold into pumpkin mixture. Place in baked pie shell. Chill until firm and top with whipped cream.
