1/2 cup butter
1 cup butter
1 cup flour
2 tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 quart or large can of undrained peaches
3/4 cup milk

Directions:
Directions:
Melt 1/2 cup butter in oblong cake pan. Sift together 1 cup sugar, 1 cup flour, 2 tbsp. baking powder, 1/2 tsp. salt. Add 3/4 cup milk to sifted mixture and pour over melted butter in cake pan. Pour 1 quart or large can of undrained peaches over batter. Bake at 350 or 1 hour or until brown.. Can use apricots or other fruit,quick, easy and good.
