1 9 inch pie crust (baked)
4 cups huckleberries(washed and well drained)
2 rounded tbsp.corn starch
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup water
2 tbsp. butter
small amt. of powdered sugar


Directions:
Directions:
In a baked pie shell add a small amount of powdered sugar on the inside bottom of the crust. Place 2 cups(washed & well drained) fresh berries in crust. Mix 2 cups fresh berries, 2 rounded tbsp. corn starch, 1/2 cup sugar and 1 cup water. Cook until thick and clear. Cool cooked mixture slightly and add 2 tbsp.butter over fresh berries. Just before serving you can top it with ice cream or whipped cream.

When using frozen berries use 3/4 cup water instead of 1 cup. Instead of putting last 2 cups of frozen berries to the pie shell- add them to the cooked mixture just before putting them in the baked pie shell.
