1 1/2 cup Shortening
2 cups Sugar
1/2 cup Molasses
2 Eggs
4 tsp Baking Soda
4 cups Sifted Flour
1 tsp Cloves
1 tsp Ginger
2 tsp Cinnamon
1 tsp Salt

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. Melt shortening at low heat. Let cool.
Add Sugar, molasses and eggs. Beat well.
Add dry ingredients and mix well.
Chill.
Form into 1" balls.
Roll in granulated sugar.
Bake on greased baking sheet until cookies crack.
