2 garlic cloves
1/8 tsp. pepper
6 potatoes
6 carrots
small onion
1/2 green pepper
3 c. water
2 tbsp. plus 2 tsp. beef bouillon

2 pd. ground beef
1/2 c. mushrooms
2 tbsp. butter

5 c. milk
6 tbsp. flour
1 16 oz. Velveeta cheese

1/2 lb. crumbled bacon

Directions:
In a soup kettle, combine first 8 ingredients, bring to a boil. reduce heat, cover and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
Cook beef, mushrooms in butter over medium heat until meat is brown. Drain the grease. Add mixture to soup. stir in 4 cups of milk.
in a small bowl combine together flour and 1 c. milk until smooth. Bring soup to boil and stir into soup. Stir until thick. Reduce heat to med-low stir in cheese until melted. Add bacon crumbled into soup.
