1 family size pkg. Oreo cookies
5 T. melted butter
1 (13 oz.) container Cool Whip [or 2 (8 oz.)]
1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Chocolate syrup
1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream, softened
1/2 T. vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Crush Oreo cookies, then combine with melted butter. Press into a greased 9x13" pan. Combine softened ice cream, vanilla and half of the Cool Whip. Place ice cream mixture on top of crust and freeze until firm.

Once frozen, spread remaining Cool Whip on top. Sprinkle with nuts, and drizzle chocolate syrup over the top. Keep frozen until ready to serve.
