2 lbs. frozen hash browns
1-2 cans cream of chicken soup
1 pt. sour cream
1/2 c. melted butter
1/2 t. salt
1/4 t. pepper
1 onion finely chopped
2 c. grated cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together melted butter and soup. Stir until smooth. Blend in sour cream, salt, pepper, onion, and cheese. Mix in the potatoes until well blended. Put into greased 9X13 pan. Melt a 1/4 cup butter. Add 1/2 to 1 1/2 cups crushed corn flakes. Sprinkle this over potato mixture. Bake 45 minutes to 1 hour at 350. Put the corn flakes on just prior to baking. Hash browns can also be thawed in advance for faster cooking.
