Ingredients:  
1 pkg. penne pasta
1 cup cottage cheese
1/4 cup butter plus 1 Tblsp.
1/4 cup flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/8 tsp. garlic salt
1 cup half and half
1/2 cup milk
2 cups shredded sharp cheese
1 cup cooked bacon
1/4 cup bread crumbs or Panko with 1 Tblsp. butter mixed in.

Mix cottage cheese in food processor till creamy. Now melt 1/4 cup butter and add flour and stir to make a roux. Gradually add cream and milk. Bring to a boil til thick. Add cottage cheese, sharp cheese, salt, pepper, garlic salt, and garlic salt plus 3/4 cup bacon bits. Cook pasta according to directions then drain. Mix this sauce into the pasta. Pour into a 9x13 baking dish. Top with bacon and bread crumbs. Bake at 400 for 20 minutes.
