1 Cup granulated sugar
1 Cup light brown sugar
1/2 cup evaporated milk
1/2 stick butter (NOT margerine)
1 Cup shelled and coarsely chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a heavy pot and cook on medium high heat - stirring constantly - until mixture forms a ball when dropped in cold water. (If using a candy thermometer, cook to the medium-hard candy stage.)

Remove from fire and whip the mixture in the pot for about a minute before you drop spoonfuls onto greased wax paper.
