2 C. Flour
2 C. Sugar
Sift together.
In a pan heat:
1 cube Butter
1/2 C. Shortening (or 2 squares of margarine)
4 Tbsp.Cocoa
1 C. Water
Bring to rapid boil Then pour over sugar and flour. Stir well.
Add:
1/2 C. Buttermilk
1 tsp. Soda
1 tsp. Vanilla
2 Eggs

Mix well and pour in greased cookie sheet 11x17x3/4. Bake 375º for 1/2 hour.
5 minutes before brownies are done, make the frosting:
1 cube Margarine
1/3 C. Milk
4 Tbsp. Cocoa
Boil and remove from heat.
Add:
1 pkg. Powdered Sugar
1 tsp. Vanilla
1 C. Walnuts, chopped
Beat well; spread on warm brownies. Spoon on carefully.
