Swedish Meatballs Recipe

1 1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
3/4 c. milk
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1 t. salt
pepper to taste
2 1/4 t. Worchestershire
1/3 c. vinagar
3/4 c. catsup
3/4 c. water
3/4 c. chopped onion
3/4 c. chopped bell pepper

Moisten bread with milk.
Mix with beef, salt, pepper.
Shape into balls and place into baking dish.
Combine remaining ingredients and pour over meatballs.
Cook uncovered 1 1/2 hours at 350 stirring occasionally

Not really Swedish but that's what Mama Lou called them. This was a much requested dish at church socials and family gatherings. You can use already prepared meatballs and cook in a crockpot with the sauce. I often serve for supper over rice.
