1 9" pie shell, baked (use the premade ones found in grocery store)
1 1/4 cup sugar
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 1/2 cups water
3 tablespoons lemon juice
1 (4oz) package strawberry flavored jello
1 quart fresh strawberries, cleaned and hulled

Whipped cream (optional)

Directions:
In medium saucepan, combine sugar and cornstarch; add the water and lemon juice. Over high heat, bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cook and stir until lightly thickened and clear, 4 to 5 minutes. Add jello, stir until dissolved. Cool to room temperature. Stir in strawberries; turn into baked pie crust. Chill 4 to 6 hours until set. Serve with whipped cream if desired.
