2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
4 large eggs
1 t. vanilla
1 c. flour
1 t. baking powder
t. salt
c. cocoa
1 pkg. chocolate chips, or 1 c. nuts (opt.)

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together sugar, butter, eggs, and vanilla. Mix and add to creamed mixture flour, baking powder, salt, cocoa, and the optional ingredient. Mix well and pour into a greased 9x13 pan and bake at 350o for 30-40 minutes.
