1/2 c. unsalted butter, cubed
1 c. packed brown sugar
1 egg
1 T. spiced rum
1 1/4 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ground ginger
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/2 c. dark chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Place butter in small heavy saucepan. Cook over medium heat for 5-7 minutes or until golden brown. Set aside to cool slightly. Beat brown sugar and browned butter in large bowl. Beat in egg then rum. Combine flour, cinnamon, soda, salt, ginger, and nutmeg. Gradually add to brown sugar mixture and mix well. Stir in chips. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. Drop by tablespoon 2" apart onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes or until bottoms are lightly brown. Remove to wire rack to cool.
