1 pound of steak or tips

11/4 cup of fresh lime juice
2 tablespoons. brown sugar
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon soy sauce
3 crushed garlic cloves (can do with garlic mincer or in mini-chopper)

Directions:
Directions:
Tenderize steak with mallett on both sides and marinade overnight.

Broil flat iron steak for only 3 minutes per side for medium rare. Slice at an angle.

For other types of steak .. cook the time you want

Love my steak rare to medium rare and this is best with thin flat iron steak. If you use this kind of steak do not overcook. If you use other type of steak that is thicker cook accordingly
