1 pkg. yeast
1 c. warm water
3 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/6 c. sugar
1/6 c. shortening
1 egg, beaten
Crumbs:
1 c. butter, softened but not melted
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
Sour cream

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast in water; stir in 2 c. flour, salt, sugar, shortening & egg. Add remaining flour, mix with spoon. Knead until smooth. Let rise 25 mins or until double in bulk. While dough is rising prepare crumbs. Mix together butter, flour and sugar. make nice an chunky(large crumbs). Spread dough in greased jellyroll sheet pan. Spread with a thin layer of sour cream on top. Sprinkle with crumbs. Bake at 400 F for 18-20 mins. Best eaten warm, same day.
