Pumpkin Cake with Icing Recipe

2 c sugar
4 eggs
1-1/2 c Wesson Oil
2 c cooked pumpkin
3 c self-rising flour
2 tsp allspice
2 tsp cinnamon

1 stick butter
1 8 oz pkg cream cheese
1 c nuts (pecans)
2 tsp vanilla
1 box confectioners sugar

Cake: Beat sugar and eggs until light; add oil and pumpkin and mix well. Sift flour and spices;add to pumpkin mixture and mix well. Bake in 3 layer pans at 350 degrees for 35 to 45 minutes.

Icing: Beat butter and cream cheese until well blended, gradually add sugar and mix well, add vanilla and nuts. Enjoy!

You can use walnuts or pecans. Small pieces work better.
