c. butter softened (1 stick)
1 lb. powdered sugar
2 c. Rice Crispies
2 c. smooth peanut butter
2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 T. shortening

Directions:
Directions:
1. Combine butter, powdered sugar, peanut butter and Rice Crispies in large bowl.

2. Refrigerate for at 1 hour or until mixture is firm enough to shape into balls.

3. Remove from fridge and shape into 1 inch balls.

4. Place chocolate chips and shortening in microwave safe bowl. Microwave on medium for 30 seconds. Stir. Repeat until mixture is smooth. Reheat as needed while coating peanut butter balls.

5. Dip peanut butter balls into melted chocolate to cover. Remove excess.

6. Place on wax paper lined tray. Refrigerate until firm.
