1 1/2 cup ketchup
1/8 to 1/4 cup of the following:
mustard
pureed fresh fruit or jam (your choice, peach is good)
brown sugar
salsa hot sauce (e.g., picante)

same amount if electing to add some type of desired BBQ sauce or oil based salad dressing (e.g., Italian)

Spices 1-2 Tablespoons in descending order of amount:
minced onion
garlic salt
pepper
garlic powder

same amount if electing to add another like hickory

Mix together, baste heavily on chicken and grill. Super good!!
