1 cup rice
1-2 T vegetable oil
1/2 bell pepper, chopped
1/2 onion, chopped
1 small can tomato sauce
1.5 tsp cumino
1.5 tsp garlic salt
1 cup chicken stock, if available

Directions:
Directions:
Place oil and rice in pan over medium heat. Stir occasionally to prevent rice from burning. Once rice is browned, add tomato sauce, chicken stock, onion, bell pepper and seasonings to rice. Taste the broth to make sure it tastes good. You can add additional salt or seasoning to taste. Cover and let simmer on low for 30 minutes, completely undisturbed. If it looks like it is losing water too fast, add a little more.
