Banana Nut Bread Recipe

1 c.(2-3) bananas (overripe bananas make a more moist and better tasting bread)
1 egg
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
3 c. Bisquick
3/4 c. chopped walnuts (or your choice)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 (325 if using a glass loaf pan). Add bananas to mixing bowl and blend. Add sugar, egg, Bisquick, and milk. Mix. Beat hard for 30 seconds. Add nuts. Pour into well greased (or PAM'd) loaf pan. Bake 45 to 50 minutes or until tooth pick comes out clean. Cool before removing from loaf pan.

My mom always made this and it was one of my favorites! I continue to make it and it is a family favorite. After my mom passed away and my dad started volunteering at St. Jude School, he would make a loaf for each staff member at Christmas time. A very special recipe for me.
